Extreme cold weather alert issued for four counties in Hungary – Photo Gallery
(MTI) – The National Weather Service has issued an alert for extreme cold weather in four counties on Sunday, with day-time temperatures of between minus 2 and minus 7 degrees Celsius.
Extreme cold weather is expected in Baranya, Somogy, Tolna and Zala counties in southwest Hungary, the service told MTI on Saturday.
Night-time temperature will drop to below minus 15 degrees Celsius in snow-covered areas in the southwest.
