First gastro plaza to open in Budapest
Le Garage, the first “gastro plaza” opens next autumn in Budapest, in Óbuda with several restaurants, delicatessens, coffee bars and five food trucks, borászportál.hu reported.
At weekends, there will be retail markets and thematic gastro programmes. It is expected to open in the summer of 2018, but those who participate in the Food Truck Rally will be able to look around virtually in Le Garage at the end of February.
Twelve business premises will be filled with shops and buffets offering premium-quality goods. Five food trucks will regularly park in the area. Thanks to the industrial environment, the first gastro plaza of the country will have spacious interior, therefore, it will be able to provide enough space for different gastronomic events and retail markets, and, at least, a thousand visitors.
The Hungarian Street Food Association provides details on Le Garage at Food Truck Rally taking place in the end of February, where there will be family programmes and professional presentations.
