FM Szijjártó proud on participating on Xi’s Beijing summit Trump called a conspiracy against the USA

Moscow on Wednesday denied US President Donald Trump’s accusation that the Russian, Chinese, and North Korean leaders were conspiring against Washington amid a massive parade held in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square. Foreign Minister Szijjártó stated in a post that Hungary is committed to a civilized approach, mutual respect, and East-West cooperation, rather than creating divisions.
He added that Hungary serves as a great example to the world of the benefits such cooperation can bring. Proudly, he also shared several photos from the Beijing ceremonies. In a later Facebook post, he expressed his joy over the success story of Hungarian-Chinese economic cooperation.

Moscow denies Trump’s accusations of China, North Korea, Russia conspiring against US
“I want to say that no one was plotting (against the US), no one was weaving anything, no conspiracies. Moreover, no one even had this in their thoughts, none of these three leaders had it,” Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov told Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin in an interview shared on his Telegram account, the Turkish Anadolu News Agency wrote.
Ushakov’s remarks came following a massive parade hosted by China to mark the 80th anniversary of Japan’s defeat in World War II, which was attended by a number of foreign leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
Beijing officially refers to the 1937-1945 period as the “War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression” and considers it a crucial part of the broader “World Anti-Fascist War.”
Everyone understands Trump’s role
“In addition, I can say that everyone understands what role the United States, the current administration of President Trump and President Trump personally play in the current international situation,” Ushakov said, adding he thinks Trump’s remarks were “not without irony.”
A day earlier, Trump accused Putin, Xi, and Kim of conspiring against the US in a post on his social media company Truth Social, noting that many Americans lost their lives in China’s struggle for victory in World War II, and stating his hope that their bravery and sacrifice would be “rightfully Honored and Remembered.”
Hungary, China bilateral cooperation in ‘record period”, says Szijjártó
Bilateral cooperation between Hungary and China is in a “record period” and both sides are ready to enhance further their ties, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó said during an official visit to Beijing on Wednesday.
In a statement issued by his ministry, Szijjártó said he had congratulated his counterpart, Wang Yi, on China’s 5.5pc GDP growth in the first half, adding that that scale of economic growth paved the way to strengthen cooperation further.
Szijjártó said Chinese companies formed the biggest group of foreign investors in Hungary in the first half of 2025, as in 2023 and 2024. He added that the upgrade of the Budapest-Belgrade rail line would be finished by year-end.
He said the number of Chinese tourists arriving in Hungary had climbed 44pc and now exceeded pre-pandemic levels. Chinese students are the second-largest group of foreigners enrolling at Hungarian universities, he added.
Szijjártó acknowledged China’s efforts on the international stage to advocate for peace and said both countries belonged to the peace camp.
Szijjártó said he had met with executives of a number of Chinese companies, including ones from Xiaomi, Chervon Auto and Wanhua.
“Based on my talks and negotiations today with executives of big Chinese companies, it is clear that Chinese businesses continue to see Hungary as an attractive investment target,” he said.
“Most of those Chinese companies plan capacity expansions and increases in headcount in Hungary,” he added.
Hundreds of millions of euros
He said Wanhua now employed over 4,000 people in northeast Hungary, while Chervon had established its only manufacturing base outside of China in the Hungarian city of Miskolc.
“Their investments are in the hundreds of millions of euros,” he added.
Xiaomi, whose products are gaining in popularity in Hungary, started local sales through its webshop in August, he said, adding that the sides had discussed opportunities to cooperate in future.
Szijjártó noted that around 31pc of all Chinese FDI in Europe had been in Hungary in 2024. Four of the five biggest Chinese investments in Europe are underway in Hungary, he added.
“Chinese investors continue to provide the stable foundation for Hungarian-Chinese cooperation,” Szijjártó said.
Szijjártó represented Hungary at the Victory Day Parade on Wednesday, marking the anniversary of the Japanese surrender in 1945 and the end of WWII.

How could Szijjarto pass up the opportunity to attend a conference of bloodthirsty dictators ? He doesn’t miss a single one.
These are the conferences Szijjarto attends proclaiming “mutual respect” for these mass murdering criminals (Putin, Lukashenko, Kim Jong Un, Iran’s leadership, Myanmar’s leadership Maduro, etc.) He does occasionally attend conferences of democratic countries where he is sure to say how he disrespects everything these countries do (Brussels!, EU!, and the leader of those terrible Western countries the USA!).
Mr. Szijjártó walks a fine line. When certain countries get penalized for importing Russian oil, I would just stay under the radar. As opposed to Mr. Fico – who appears to be happy with a photo opp with Mr. Putin and being on the world stage. Brave.
