Fuel prices to change significantly in Hungary from Friday
Motorists will see a significant decrease in fuel prices starting from Friday, 3 February. However, keep in mind that there can be minor or major differences between petrol stations.
A significant drop in wholesale prices has been announced: fuel prices are expected to fall further at the petrol stations from Friday, holtankoljak.hu reports. The price of petrol will fall by HUF 5 per litre, and that of diesel by HUF 15.

The current average price of petrol will therefore be HUF 622 (EUR 1.60) instead of HUF 626.9 (EUR 1.61). Meanwhile, diesel will cost an average of HUF 668 (EUR 1.72) per litre instead of HUF 683.5 (EUR 1.76), Forbes writes. Note that the price difference between petrol stations in the suburbs and along motorways could be as much as HUF 55-60 (EUR 0.14-0.15).

Dear Andrew, while in euros, the change is not that much in numbers, 5 and 15 forints (especially the latter) are significant in the case of a lot of us. Thank you for reading us.

Using the word significantly for 5-15 Forint is a serious joke. Forint or EUR, this is insignificant and I live in Hungary as well 😀
