Goncz book of condolence to be opened in parliament – PHOTOS
Budapest (MTI) – The Hungarian National Assembly will set up a book of condolence for the late Arpad Goncz, Hungary’s first post-communist president, in parliament, parliament’s press office told MTI.
The book of condolence will be open for Hungarian citizens to enter their tributes between October 8 and 11 from 10am to 6pm each day.
Goncz, who served as president for ten years from 1990, died on Tuesday at the age of 93.
In the evening hundreds of mourners gathered in front of the parliament building to pay tribute to the late president.
