Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton claimed victory in the 34th Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix, round 12 of the 2019 FIA Formula One World Championship.

Grand Prix is a moto race that was first organized in France in 1894. It comprises several endurance tests for drivers and vehicles. The Hungarian Grand Prix was held in Mogyorod, Hungary on August 4, 2019. It was one of the twenty-one rounds of the 2019 Formula One Championship. Many punters wagers on various drivers in Betway. Top Contenders

The teams and drivers who were in the season entry list took part in the Hungarian Grand Prix. The competition didn’t have other stand-in drivers. Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton led with 148 and 41 points in the constructors and drivers championships. Most motor race fans expected them to maintain the lead. But, Max Verstappen was the fastest driver and the first Dutch to be on pole followed by Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas.

Max started the Grand Prix from pole position.

Even so, Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas attacked him in turn one thus forcing him to defend in the inner line. Valtteri locked his right tire hence forcing Lewis to use a wide line. He allowed Max to pull away from both of them in the first two turns.

Charles Leclerc started in the fourth position. He maintained his lead over Sebastian Vettel through turn one. Carlos Sainz overtook Lando Norris and Pierre Gasly and approached Vettel. Bottas locked his car’s tires again and allowed Lewis to attack him from the wider line.

Hamilton overtook Bottas in turn three despite tapping his front wing. Many gamers wagered on Hamilton in Betway88 to make a profit. Bottas shifted to a wide line and slowed down. Leclerc overtook him in turn four and he damaged his front wing further when he shifted to the left. The stewards investigated Bottas’s sudden drift but didn’t take any appropriate action. The extensive damage on his wing slowed down his pace and allowed Vettel to overtake him.

Hamilton Overtakes Verstappen

Bottas pitted on lap six to replace his front wing. He was the last driver when he reemerged in the race. Hamilton and Verstappen battled each other to lead the race. Red Bull pulled Max to pit and Mercedes called Hamilton after a few laps. Hamilton’s team didn’t fix his rear right tire properly thus costing him valuable time. Verstappen led by six seconds when Lewis reemerged from the pit. His engineer advised him to check his tires. The British driver struggled to close the gap between him and Max.
