Here are the best concerts to catch in Budapest

Since the coronavirus took over the globe, there have been many changes that affected our lives. Besides those, many new rules and regulations have been introduced as well. Some of the restrictions included that concerts, festivals, and other events had to be cancelled. This year; however, some festivals and concerts are allowed to be held. This is true for next year as well. 2022 will again be the year of great music and awesome concerts. Now that finally people can go to concerts and artists are back on tour, we collected some of the best shows to catch in Budapest.

This year Nightwish is undoubtedly one of the biggest names to perform in the Hungarian capital. The Finnish symphonic metal heroes will present their current studio album HUMAN.:||:NATURE. The unique stage designs and pyro effects will be spectacular. On top of that, Amorphis will be the special guest on their tour. Industrial band Turmion Kätilöt will also take the stage in Papp László Budapest Sport Aréna. And in December, Simply Red will perform.

Next year the biggest names in various genres will come to Budapest . Papp László Budapest Sport Aréna and Budapest Park will host the best concerts. Below, you can check out which bands will be worth seeing live. 

Budapest Park

In April 2022, 5 Seconds of Summer are coming to Budapest. The cool pop band will perform in Hungary for the first time. 5 Seconds of Summer has three chart-topping albums, many hits, and collaborations with such famous artists as Chainsmokers, Julia Michaels or Tom Morello. 

The shows of the above-mentioned artists are a great start to a promising line of events.  In June, Black Veil Brides, Billy Talent, Of Mice & Men, Rise Against, Thomas Anders of Modern Talking, Deftones, Gogol Bordello, alt-J, and Billy Idol will take the stage. In July, Pet Shop Boys and Gary Clark Jr. will arrive in the capital of Hungary.  In August,  you can see Tash Sultana and Pixies live.
