According to the Ministry of Technology and Industry, this is a great way to discover the Hungarian capital. The offer is also valid for families. Travelling from Budapest from a distance of at least 100 kilometres, you can save more than half of the total ticket price.
The Fireworks 2022 return ticket can be used to travel to Budapest on 26 and 27 August and to return home on 27 and 28 August. The ticket is valid on all MÁV-Start, GYSEV and Volánbus services. The ticket is valid for 2nd class on trains, but does not include surcharges for buses or trains, says turizmus.com.
