Hoopps, the new Uber of Budapest
According to szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu, affordable application-based car transportation is back in Budapest. The drivers of the Hungarian startup, Hoopps give cheaper lifts than taxis, while clients can order cars in real time and also get to know Budapest better during the drive.
The Hoopps application has only been launched a few days ago, but it already has thousands of users. The popularity is not surprising: this is the first opportunity after quite a while that offers affordable and real time car transportation for Budapest dwellers.
The smartphone application doesn’t only ease the everyday life of locals, but also helps in getting to know Budapest better, because a digital tourist guide provides useful information during the rides.
With the combination of marketing and tourism, the incorporation of companies and modern technology, Hoopps offers a unique travel experience like no other company does. Furthermore, it is reliable, transparent and cash-free, as it works with a credit card based paying model.
The drivers of Hoopps have to have a valid driving licence, qualification for passenger transport, certificate of good conduct, an own car, and they have to go through a pre-examination and training.
This new form of transport can be tested by anyone in Budapest 24/7. However, the developers ask for the clients’ patience, since the application runs still in test mode.
