Horrible accident in Hungarian circus: Performer flew out of death balloon

A horrific accident happened during a performance of the Hungarian National Circus in Szolnok. One of the performers in the show flew out of the death balloon and was seriously injured. The circus company later issued a statement saying that the performer had suffered a pelvic injury but would recover.

A terrible accident happened at the Hungarian National Circus in Szolnok. The circus’s motorbike artists were performing in the death sphere, a huge metallic lattice sphere. They were riding up and down in the huge structure, Index writes.

However, the sphere may have malfunctioned, as one of the performers flew out of the sphere and was seriously injured.

The circus company issued a statement on its Facebook page about the incident. As they wrote, their performer Alice suffered a pelvic injury but will recover.

“Her condition is stable and we have been assured of her recovery by the hospital staff. Unfortunately, accidents can happen during the performance, despite all safety precautions, which is part of the job of a performing artist,” they wrote, adding: “We hope Alice recovers quickly and is back on the road soon, but in the meantime we would like to thank you for your interest and the good wishes!”
