Huge shutdown coming to MÁV: Application, website, ticket offices affected

The sale of railway tickets will be suspended until early dawn on Wednesday, the Hungarian State Railways, MÁV, reported.

Due to system maintenance, rail ticket sales will not be available on Wednesday from 0:00 to 3:00 in the timetable planner (Elvira), the MÁV application, ticket machines, on trains (ticket inspectors) and ticket offices, Mávinform said on its Facebook page.

Those buying a county or country ticket can find out in advance about the sales points on the orszagberlet.hu website, they said.
