Hungarian foreign minister: consular services to be stepped up during EURO 2016
Budapest, May 27 (MTI) – The foreign ministry is planning to step up consular services during the EURO 2016 soccer championships to be held in France from June 10 to July 10, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Friday.
The foreign ministry is tasked with offering consular protection in areas where an increased number of Hungarians is present. As a result, local and mobile consular protection will be provided in cities that host matches where the Hungarian eleven is to play, Szijjártó said.
He asked soccer fans to register on the consular service website so that their contacts are available if necessary.
