Hungarian League: Title race swings back Honvéd’s way, Vasas defeats Videoton
Striker Márton Eppel’s late winner for Budapest Honvéd was the difference between his side and Haladás on Saturday as Marco Rossi’s team returned to the summit of NB I, thanks also to previous leader Videoton’s dramatic 2-1 home loss to nine-man Vasas.
Elsewhere Diosgyőr scrambled a point away at Ferencváros, MTK secured a morale-boosting 2-0 home win at home to out-of-form Mezőkövesd, ten-man Debrecen eases their relegation fears with a 2-1 victory over basement team Gyirmót and Paks maintained their unbeaten spring record with a 1-1 draw away at Újpest.
