Hungarian MOL CEO: it is a lie that Hungary supports Ukraine’s war

Handelsblatt, a German newspaper, said that without Hungary’s fuel support towards Ukraine, the Ukrainian army would not be able to move. They added that most of the diesel the military uses in their operations against the Russian invading forces is Turkish and Hungarian export. But Zsolt Hernádi, the CEO of Hungary’s market leader MOL, said yesterday that that was a lie.

According to portfolio.hu, Mr Hernádi talked at the MCC Feszt, an event organised by Mathias Corvinus Collegium, an elite higher education institution in Hungary. The event was attended by almost all government members but the prime minister. For example, the prime minister’s chief of staff, Gergely Gulyás, foreign minister Péter Szijjártó, and the newly appointed EU justice minister, János Boka, held a speech at the festival.

Mr Hernádi said that Handelsblatt’s statement about Hungary’s support towards Ukraine, without which Kyiv’s army would not be able to attack or move, is a lie. He added that the Polish, Lithuanians, and Romanians give multiple times the Hungarian diesel export to Ukraine due to market reasons. He highlighted that Hungary provided only 6 percent of Ukraine’s diesel consumption.

He said that provided the Russians did not deliver their crude to MOL refineries in Százhalombatta and Bratislava (Pozsony), they could use Western-type crude arriving to Adriatic ports. However, that needs serious investments and will result in higher prices. He said the Russians modified their export routes and sold their crude to India and China. That is because they are not stupid as the EU thought.

HERE is our original article in the issue based on the information of Handelsblatt. And HERE is Orbán’s interview in which he said Ukraine ran out of strength and needs a ceasefire.

  1. Handelsblatt used the data of the Ukrainian customs agency and Mr Hernádi used… what data? Did any journalist care to ask where and how he got the 6 % figure? Without better information, I still believe Handelsbaltt analysis, but for the sake of beating Russian army I am happy to officially accept Mr Hernádi´s explanation as long as the fuel is flowing to support Ukrainian defense against the army of tyranny.

  2. There is no moral reason to support the tragic mass-murder of youths and men in Ukraine.
It’s a no-good proxy war that noone has any gain from, except the globalist billionaire elite.
