One of the world’s most important higher education rankings, ARWU, has been published every August since 2003, and since 2009 it has been prepared by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy. When compiling the list of thousands, the publications, the citations, and the importance of the academic work of the lecturers are considered, but the rate of Nobel Prize-winning and Fields Medal-winning lecturers and alumni is also essential. Clarivate Web of Science data is used to calculate the publication indicators. During the compilation of the world ranking, the best universities of the world, such as 2,500 higher education institutions, were examined, grouped based on six indicators. |
