Hungarian Wedding to open Tallinn film festival – trailer

Csaba Káel’s musical film Hungarian Wedding has been invited to compete in the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and will open the programme on Monday.

Hungarian Wedding showcases Hungarian popular music and dance “going back to the roots but inspiring the young generation in modern form,” makers of the film said in a statement.

The film, based on Miksa Bekesi’s script, follows the late 1970s story of two young men travelling from Budapest to Transylvania to attend a weeding party. Once there, they find unexpected adventure and are forced to make decisions that would entail unforeseeable ramifications.
