Methodology and Scoring
Calculation of the Score Before Normalization
The initial score of a country in the Digital Nomad index is calculated using the factors mentioned above.
This formula balances various factors, giving higher weight to aspects like internet speed, tax-free length, and tourism popularity, while also considering the cost of living and the availability of a digital nomad visa.
Normalization of the Score
The final score, called the ‘Digital Nomad Score,’ is derived by normalizing the initial score as follows:

I don’t know, fam. I live literally opposite the Orszaghaz, and our building cannot get broadband, supposedly because the cabling has not been upgraded. We’re having to use mobile Internet, which is, to put it mildly, not great. Major European capital city, slap-bang downtown, at the cusp of the second quarter of the 21st century. Shameful. THIS is what Mayo Greg should be spending our money on, not idiotic bicycle lanes that nobody uses or gypsy culture celebration days.
