Hungary reports 161 new COVID-19 infections
No patients died over the weekend, while 161 new Covid infections were registered, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Monday.
So far 5,596,543 people have received a first jab, while 5,374,864 have been fully vaccinated.
The number of active infections has declined to 33,394, while hospitals are treating 55 Covid patients, 9 of whom need respiratory assistance.
There are 1,517 people in official quarantine, while 6,303,940 tests have been officially carried out.
Since the first outbreak, 809,262 infections have been registered, while
the number of fatalities stands at 30,020.
Fully 745,848 people have made a recovery.
So far, most infections have been registered in Budapest and Pest County, followed by the counties of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Győr-Moson-Sopron and Hajdú-Bihar.
