Imagine Dragons at Budapest Sportaréna on this weekend
According to budapestarena.hu, with their highly anticipated new album ‘Smoke + Mirrors’ out in February, US chart phenomenon Imagine Dragons play shows all over Europe from the end of this year. Budapest is also in their tour, they will stop on January 20th, 2016 at BudapestAréna!
Live, the band is fast becoming one of the best in the business. They garnered some amazing reviews in the last year, such as “Imagine Dragons were born global, ready to be played from Seattle to Sydney. They seem both humble and completely unstoppable.”, or “a great show, it was definitely worth the money and worth taking the day off to see them!” and they were “in a class of their own” with a 5* review. Their performance at Sziget Festival last year received raptured praises as well, like “Imagine Dragons came, played their songs and took everything” and “their show should have been given by prescription to everyone”.
Imagine Dragons was formed in 2008 in Las Vegas. In 2012, right after its release their first album peaked at number two on the US and UK chart. According to Billboard, Imagine Dragons topped the year-end rock rankings and were named The Breakthrough Band of 2013. They won almost everything in the last year: Grammy, American Music, Billboard and World Music Awards, among others. They sold over 24 million singles worldwide and 6 million copies of their 2 albums until now.
