One of the most popular shoe chains, Salamander, is leaving Hungary. The final sale has started in the shops. Soon, they will close all their Hungarian stores for good.

“The owner of Salamander has decided not to continue its retail activities in Hungary in the future,” the company wrote on its social media page.

“We therefore regret to inform you that our shops will soon be closing for good.”

  1. Sad.
    Dictionary definition of Salamander;
    “a Lizard like amphibian with an elongated body, a tail and short limbs, once thought able to endure FIRE.
    The “ravage” on-going of the Hungarian economy, that is worsening, certainly FIRE like, in its destructional path.
    Salamander, no longer by there decision, not RIGHTLY prepared to ENDURE – what hundreds possible thousands of business operations are experiencing in Hungary at this present SICKENING time.
    There WILL me MORE.
