Intl Anilogue Animations Festival Starts in Budapest
Budapest (MTI) – A selection of the best animations of the past years will be shown at the 12th international Anilogue Animation Film Festival starting in Budapest on Wednesday evening.
The event will open with “Is The Man Who Is Tall Happy? – An animated conversation with Noam Chomsky” by director Michel Gondry. It reveals the life and work of the controversial MIT professor and linguist through interview segments, archive photos and drawings made by the director.
The festival will also show Hungarian young director Reka Bucsi’s title “Symphony No. 42” which has won several international awards and has been entered to compete for the Academy Awards.
The festival will show altogether 14 feature-length animations, seven of which will compete for the main prize.
