Justice committee chair Rubovszky must step down and name the person instructing him to commit an unlawful act!
As shown in Hir TV’s video recording, György Rubovszky is willing to do anything to block our Constitutional amendment from the Parliament’s agenda “even at the price of breaching the House Regulations”.
This is a grave violation of democratic rules and the politician, in Jobbik’s view, is unworthy to chair the Committee on Justice. We call upon the Christian Democratic MP to resign from his post as committee chairman.
The background of the case is known: if Jobbik’s Constitutional amendment is passed by the Parliament, then Hungary could immediately, and with the highest possible legal power, say no to the migrant quota dictated by Brussels, while preventing any risks of a potentially invalid or unsuccessful referendum and saving nearly 5 bn HUF of the taxpayers’ money, too. However, this solution would also mean that Fidesz could no longer keep the immigration issue in the focus of public discourse to cover up the constantly emerging corrupt dealings related to such people in the PM’s inner circle as Lőrinc Mészáros, György Matolcsy, Andy Vajna and Árpád Habony.
We do not assume that György Rubovszky would debase himself to commit such an unlawful act of his own accord, so we call upon Fidesz to come clean: was it PM Viktor Orbán personally or perhaps another Fidesz politician who instructed György Rubovszky to take this scandalous step?
