LIST: Here are the flights Wizz Air cancelled from Budapest

As we reported yesterday, Wizz Air had to cancel several of its flights due to a compulsory engine checkup. Now, we have a list of flights from Budapest Airport that have been cancelled. Note: the list might be incomplete. Make sure to always check the relevant flight information on Wizz Air’s website and also your emails before flying – or deciding to stay at home.

As you may have read in our Tuesday article, the jet engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney is to check GTF engines in an accelerated procedure, which concerns several Wizz Air planes. Due to the compulsory checkup, Wizz Air had to modify its timetable and cancel several flights in September and October.

Here are some flights from Budapest Airport that appear to be cancelled on Wizz Air’s official website. The list was compiled by Árpád Antolik. Cancelled flights appear on the Wizz Air website as “sold out”, thus it is impossible to buy a ticket for the given flight. The passenger will later receive an email that their flight has been cancelled or modified.
