MEP Gyöngyösi gave the symbol of the ’56 Revolution to Zelenskiy

MEP Márton Gyöngyösi ((Non-attached) gave a flag with a hole in it to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the European Parliament.
“It was a great honour for me to give the symbol of the 1956 revolution to President Zelenskiy. Hungarians still remember and know exactly what Russian aggression is like,” writes Márton Gyöngyösi.
“We stand for a free, sovereign, European Ukraine, Slava Ukraini”, he concluded his post with a sentence praising Ukrainian heroes.
In the European Parliament, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy was welcomed by EU politicians. In his speech, the Ukrainian President thanked the European Parliament for its support and said that Ukraine can only defend its values if it wins.
