Miskolc builds postcard wall

The touristic organization of Miskolc would like to attract tourists by encouraging them to present their own settlements with a postcard. They can give them to any Tourinform offices or Infopoints, and in return for it, they get a Miskolc postcard, travelo.hu wrote.

The touristic institution starts the collecting of postcards during the Becherovka Miskolc Jelly Carnival. It is planned that the special postcard wall – which will be built out of these – will be set up in June, but they collect the postcards all year round. The goal is that more and more people share their favorite programs, restaurants and accommodation in Miskolc and the things they liked the most.

According to travelo.hu, the postcard wall will connect settlements and experiences by the end of the year. The guests can present their own hometowns on the postcards and their Miskolc experiences on the gift postcard.

The statement of the touristic organization says that Hungary’s “biggest offline touristic social media channel” can be born and it can keep the Miskolc experiences for decades. You can read about the project here.
