Multi-level junction completed at Budaörsi Road
Budapest, April 18 (MTI) – A new multi-level junction was opened in southwest Budapest, on Budaörsi Road, on Monday.
The investment built from 7.2 billion forints (EUR 23m) net started in 2014. It will be used by an estimated 120,000 drivers per day, Mayor of Budapest István Tarlős said at the opening. He added that the upgrade came complete with new wiring and plumbing, with underpasses that are wheelchair accessible and a noise barrier.
The number of P+R spaces will rise from the current 1,000 to 1,500 by the end of the year next to the Metro 4 terminus Kelenfold, Tarlos said.
