Hotel boom in Hungary – Hotels capacity will expand with 3500 new rooms in the near future
As Turizmusonline.hu informs, the Association of Hungarian Hotels and Restaurants has released a list about hotels which will soon open or currently are being under construction.
In recent years, the number of new hotels has significantly risen in Hungary, and it seems to continue to increase. While in 2015, 22 new hotels were opened, among which 4 in Budapest, in 2016 15 new ones were opened, including 3 in the Hungarian capital city, and we already now about 5 hotels that will open this year. If everything goes well, a hotel-opening-boom is about to come soon. Thanks to new investments and expansions, Hungarian hotels’ capacity will expand with 3500 new rooms in the near future.
Hotels to be opened in the first quarter of 2017:
- Exe Danube. Asbóth utca 4. Budapest, with 101 rooms
- President Hotel (expansion), Hold street 4. Budapest, with 48 rooms
- Garden Hotel Medical Spa, Debrecen, with 24 rooms
- Hotel di Verdi Üllői road 89 – 91. Budapest with 92 rooms
- Villa Vitae Balatonfüred with 14 rooms
