The opening of the new seven-storey hotel was reported by turizmus.com, highlighting its clean lines, warm tones, and the use of natural materials — all evident in the images shared on the official Facebook page of the luxury establishment. According to the tourism outlet, the hotel’s standout feature is undoubtedly the breathtaking panorama — a sweeping view of the Chain Bridge and the ornate Pest riverbank.
What services does the new luxury hotel in Budapest offer?
On the ground floor, the Leon Café serves up mouth-watering breakfasts.
“Leon Café’s standout is JADE Matcha, a pioneering Japanese matcha concept transforming the traditional ritual into a contemporary experience,” the portal noted.

On the first floor, guests will find a spacious, light-filled conference room featuring sophisticated interior design and direct access to a tranquil internal garden.
From the second to sixth floors lie the guest rooms, where visitors can choose between views of Buda Castle or the Danube. Each room measures 21 square metres.

On the seventh floor, three Leon Top Floor Studio suites offer guests added comfort along with private terraces and the aforementioned unforgettable views. These suites are 40 square metres each.
As for the interior décor, the hotel breaks new ground here too. The visual artworks of Hungarian AI-artist Dávid Szauder, who resides in Berlin, lend a one-of-a-kind atmosphere to each stay.
This isn’t the world-renowned Leon brand’s first venture in Budapest. They previously opened Leon Osteria on Lánchíd Street nearby, delighting customers with flavours of traditional Italian cuisine.

According to the hotel’s website, rates for a standard October weekend booking range from €281 (without breakfast, prepaid, but with premium wine, mineral water, and a Nespresso machine with coffee selection in the room) to €384 (includes breakfast and a fully refundable rate). River-view rooms cost slightly more than those with castle views. Naturally, the top-floor suites are pricier, coming in at nearly €600 with breakfast and free cancellation.
