Newest bridge in Budapest will connect arenas
Construction works around the monumental Puskás Arena, which has been the biggest investment in the history of Hungarian architecture, are still going on.
Magyar Épitők reported that construction works are currently ongoing on an area of 6,000 square-metres, between Ifjúság útja and the arena’s statue park of Puskás. Above Ifjúság útja, several pedestrian bridges have already been built, and investors are now working on another, more difficult and bigger project.
According to the plans, the construction of another pedestrian bridge would take place to connect the Puskás and Papp László Budapest Arenas above the statue park and Ifjúság útja.
The southern parts of the bridge are already visible, and soon, the northern part will start to make its way above ground. Currently, the base and the structure that keep the whole bridge stable and together are being formed by architects.
This basic form of the bridge requires maximum expertise and attention as it is made with a special technique that makes it stand out from ordinary bridge structures.

What is thus ‘special technique’? Likewise don’t most bridges require ‘expertise’?
