This year the colleagues of the Budapest Zoo rescued over 2,000 animals. The following video introduces some of them, but visitors can actually meet the animals in the Sünispotály of the zoo.
An important part of the zoo’s nature conservation activities is animal rescue. In Hungary, these are individuals of indigenous, wild, protected or highly protected species, who for some reason need human assistance. The zoo would like to thank all those who contributed to giving these animals a new chance!
