Authorities to slaughter tens of thousands of ducks
Avian influenza has been detected at a farm in eastern Hungary, food safety authority Nebih said on its website on Wednesday.

The virus subtype H5N1 was detected at a duck farm in Hajdú-Bihar County. The 42,000 ducks are being culled and restrictions have been introduced. Nébih detected bird flu at several other farms in other counties in recent weeks.
