Coronavirus – Hungary takes delivery of 27 tonnes of protective gear from China
Hungary took delivery of a 27 tonnes of personal protective equipment form China by air on Saturday, the foreign minister told MTI.
Péter Szijjártó said another two aircraft would bring 3,270,000 surgical masks to Budapest on Sunday.
Hungary also needs to think about the period after the pandemic, about restarting the economy and protecting jobs, he said.
Hungary is availing of the opportunity offered by the European Commission’s decision to scrap a number of “superfluous” rules and taking measures that will keep Hungary the most attractive country for investment in Central Europe, he added.
