Have you ever seen the panorama of Budapest from the dome of Buda Palace?
With its characteristic dome recognisable from afar, the Buda Palace is one of the symbols of Budapest that dominates the panorama along the river Danube.
The highest point of the Palace, the Dome of the Hungarian National Gallery offers a spectacular view on the capital. The terrace of the Dome is very popular with visitors, since with the exception of open-air lookouts, there are very few buildings in Budapest with a panoramic view that is accessible to everyone. The Dome can be visited with a ticket to the permanent exhibitions during opening hours, depending on weather conditions.
