Good news! Hungarian forint getting stronger
The value of the Hungarian national currency has been increasing for the fifth day consecutively.
That is good news for the Hungarian families receiving their salaries in HUF. But bad for people working abroad, who profited from the weak forint. According to 24.hu, the forint has increased its value against the euro with ten units. That means we could buy 1 EUR for less than 360 HUF.
The Hungarian currency saw such a conversion price at the beginning of November.
Portfolio.hu says that the monetary policy of the Hungarian National Bank helps that process. Furthermore, forint gets stronger despite Fed’s strict plans for 2022.
