Romania lifts quarantine requirement for arrivals from Hungary
From Thursday on travellers can cross into Romania from Hungary without having to isolate themselves on arrival, according to information from the central body coordinating coronavirus-related measures.
Róbert Kiss, a spokesman for the operative body, said that Romania had removed Hungary from the list of high-risk countries.
He also added that traffic at Hungary’s border crossings was smooth, with the exception of Csanádpalota, Röszke, Tompa and Beregsurány, where 2-3 hour waiting times should be expected.
