On this week: Budapest Art Week
Budapest Art Week is a fine art program series where exhibitions and events (guided tours, lectures, workshops, performances) are available during six days on 70 locations (museums, galleries and exhibition halls).
What is Budapest Art Week?
Budapest Art Week is a program series since 2016.
In 2019, this is the 4th time, when it gives a compass to the lovers of art.
Since its start, Budapest Art Week is additional of the art program of Budapest Spring Festival.
Its purpose is to give a call to the Hungarian and foreign people and engaging them to the art life of Budapest. 70 venues, nearly 150 programs waiting for the curious with many programs in the fields of museum education with full of interactivity.
Every year, many exhibition places, galleries and art institutes are connecting to the program.
The event is renewed every year and in this case, it can represent every colorful faces of art. New places, new temporary exhibitions, new conditions – in every spring. But one thing never changes: the pursue to bring the art world closer to everybody.
Tickets
You can buy online tickets for Budapest Art Week between 9-14 April 2019. Tickets will allow you to attend all exhibitions throughout the event, during opening hours of the venues and you will also be able to attend our programs (guided walks, guided tours, museum educational sessions, conversations, studio visits, etc.).
Tickets purchased online can be exchanged for entry wristbands during the time of Budapest Art Week, at the participating institutions (detailed list soon…) and before the events at the venues as well. You can also buy your your ticket / wristbands before the events, at the venues.
