Parlt passes public service media integration
Budapest, December 15 (MTI) – Parliament on Monday passed a law amendment on the integration of the four public service media companies, in a vote on Monday.
Under the motion a new public service company called Duna Media Service Non-Profit Limited Company will be set up as of July 1, 2015.
The company will provide radio, television, online and news agency services.
The amendment sponsored by ruling Fidesz’s lawmakers Bence Tuzson and Monika Dunai was passed with 131 votes in favour and 63 against.
