PHOTOS: Ecuadorian business gala dinner in Budapest
The Embassy of Ecuador with the support of PROECUADOR and the partnership of the new Matild Palace Hotel realized the first edition of the Ecuadorian Shrimp Gala Dinner, a fantastic event to promote the quality of Ecuadorian shrimp.
The Gala counts with the incredible dinner execution of chef Miguel Xavier Monar, Ambassador of Ecuadorian product and international referent of Ecuadorian fusion cuisine, who visit Budapest for the second time this year to show to the possible investor the quality and versatility of Ecuadorian products.
The Gala dinner was held at the Duke Hall of the Matild Palace, last Wednesday, November 9 with the assistance of an exclusive group of investors, diplomats, and special guests, who can enjoy an amazing night tasting a 3 course menu with shrimps as protagonists.
Behalf of the support of PROECUADOR, other Ecuadorian sponsors were present at the event for example the San Miguel Rum, and the wineries Dos Hemisferios and Santa Priscila.
This event is a part of the plan to show the quality of the products of Ecuador and make stronger the commercial relations between Hungary and Ecuador. This is the second event of this type realized in Budapest in 2022.

But also, I am glad because we are working to get a strong relationship with Hungary in different areas such as business and education, and the answer is always positive. We plan to have these events in the future very soon and continue to have the support of PROECUADOR, our friend and talent chef Miguel Monar, and also with the support of our allies such as the Hotel Matild Palace.”, said Ambassador José Luis Salazar during his speech.
To enclose the event, the organizers offer the guests Ecuadorian coffee in a very special way, drawing some images from Ecuador over their cappuccinos. The guests went back to home with a tablet of pure Ecuadorian chocolate courtesies of Höganäs.
