Benedict Cumberbatch, the world-known star of multiple Marvel movies and the latest Sherlock series, is in Budapest. Moreover, he enjoys the comprehensive gastronomy and entertainment offer of the pearl of Central Europe.

According to Blikk, the British actor has been blessed with a good taste since he visited a Michelin-star restaurant in Budapest. Mr Cumberbatch ate his dinner in the Babel in downtown Budapest. The star is in Hungary because of the shooting of the Eric series. It is a Netflix production and will be available in 2024 on the streaming platform. Before, he visited the Hungarian Opera and a famous steakhouse in the capital.

His colleagues said he followed a strict diet during the shooting of the Sherlock series. He only ate bananas, humus, vegetables and some fruits, Rupert Graves said about him then. He also said he was in shock seeing the British actor’s willpower. However, it seems the famous Hungarian cuisine made him change his mind and try the unique tastes and dishes of Hungary.
