PHOTOS: The best selfie place now in Budapest – Historic Viking ship arrived

A Viking ship rarely arrives in the Hungarian capital, but this is exactly what happened yesterday in Budapest. The Saga Farmann is peacefully swaying on River Danube in front of the Hungarian parliament, one of the nation’s symbols, and close to the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade on Bem Square.

According to the official Facebook page of the Vikingskipet Saga Farmann, the main communication channel of the project, the Historic warship England was afraid of 1300 years ago arrived in Budapest yesterday. “If you are in, or close to Budapest tomorrow and Sunday, you should be able to see the ship, and maybe even come onboard. The crew will be cleaning her to make her ready for the next crew, joining this weekend, but there is always someone to talk to. They will be moored at Bem tér 2. Look for the Norwegian flag in the stern”, they wrote on Facebook.

The Scandinavian House wrote that you can visit the ship between 4 PM and 6 PM today. You can ask the captain and the crew about their experience and about the Viking era. And, of course, you can take some astonishing selfies with Budapest, the Danube and the Parliament in the background. HERE is their event.
