Planes, Sportcars And Parachutes In Budapest Downtown On May 1st

The event called Nagy Futam was a huge success last year so the city centre of Budapest will host again the air and asphalt show on the first day of May.

There will be so many attraction for the show that it is impossible to pick one as the main. The visitors will have the chance to see in the air the unique new planes of Red Bull Flying bulls, PéterBesenyei flying while on the ground Formula 1 rstar racers like David Coulthard, Daniel Ricciardo will drive. The famous, record breaker Felix Baumgartner will jump into town with a parachute.

The programs will start at 11 am with PéterBesenyei, who will take off from the Erzsébethíd. His production will be followed by the Red Bull Flying Bulls air show. The last air attraction will be the Red Bull sky-troopers landing.
After a short break the show will continue on the ground at 2 pm with the Red Bull Racing FORMULA 1 Show. David Coulthard and DanilRicciardo will race on the Danube’s shore between the Lánchíd and Margit híd. Afterwards several sport cars will be introduced to the public. There will be a LeMans BMW, Porshce 997, Ferrari and WTCC cars presented by famous drivers like Sebastian Loeb, NorbertMichelisz, Ivan Müller and Jose Maria Lopez. Gabor Talmácsi will appear for a short time as well.

The last big attraction will be the jump of Felix Bamugartner, who will not jump from the space this time but will arrive with a helicopter. His landing zone will be the Batthyányitér, where the landing will be the sign for the last car race with Coulthard and Ricciardo.
