PM Orbán fought it out; EU funds coming to Hungary, says government

“Viktor Orbán has fought it out; the EU funds are coming to Hungary,” the communications director of the ruling parties said in a Facebook video on Sunday.
The prime minister has already fought out 12.5 billion euros, and the rest will come, too, Tamás Menczer said. Menczer said there were certain points in EU decision-making where unanimity was needed, and Viktor Orbán “knows this better than anyone, because he is the most experienced prime minister in Brussels,” he explained.
“He will also fight out the rest, and when the 12.5 billion euros have been used up, the rest will come, too, no one should have any doubt. The Hungarian prime minister has fought out every forint and every euro that is due to Hungary, and he will do so in future,” Tamás Menczer said.

In one word “EXTORTION” and the Viktator knows it better than anyone.
The EUrogarbage knows that bribing Hungarian people with 395 euros per capita per year is the only way to keep them from walking out of that absurd fabrication altogether. Although, if they had tanks, they’d use them instead. Let’s hope an E.U. army never comes to be or it’ll be 1956 all over again.
It appears Hungary cannot function without this “measly” EUR 395 per capita contribution from the EU. From the day we joined in 2004, actually. So – “only” 395 x population x 20, for starters. Then, European single market, assistance with know how and technology, Schengen, you name it.
We would be a serious backwater country without the European Union. And we will need our European friends and neighbors even more, given where the world seems to be going.
And strong arming, bullying and extorting your friends and neighbors? Well. Let´s see. Not conducive to keeping your friends, enthusing allies or gaining influence. Or perhaps Hungary could become the USA´s 51st State – live the dream?
