Police drop procedures against foreign reporters
Budapest, September 18 (MTI) – The police have dropped procedures initiated against an Australian, a Slovak and a Polish reporter under suspicion of illegal entry during the recent migrant riots at Röszke, a local police spokesman said on Friday.
The reporters said that they had drifted with the crowd when migrants on the Serbian side broke through the gate and entered Hungarian territory, Szabolcs Szenti said.
“The police could not counter that statement and terminated the procedure,” the spokesman said.
