Gyurcsány’s DK believes President Sulyok is a common criminal

The Budapest Public Prosecutor’s Office has rejected a petition by Democratic Coalition MEP Klára Dobrev to launch court proceedings regarding alleged attempts to circumvent the law to acquire seven pieces of farmland in Csongrad-Csanád County, in southern Hungary.

In her petition, Dobrev alleged that, based on purchase and donation agreements and a German-language certificate presented during the purchase procedure, the real owner of the lands in question was not the person registered in the land registry. She alleged the legal transaction had aimed to transfer proprietary rights to an unauthorised person.

The prosecutor’s office said in a statement on Thursday that the petition did not fulfil the necessary requirements for submitting a claim to start legal proceedings.

The prosecutor’s office reviewed the related documents, and found that one property had been transferred to the ownership of its present Hungarian owner lawfully in every respect. The remaining six lands are in the hands of the state. All purchase agreements had been found to be in line with Hungarian law in previous court proceedings, the prosecutor’s office said.

The mortgage on the state-owned lands was also found to be lawful, the statement said.

Presidential pocket agreements?

While Hungarian laws at the time banned foreign nationals from acquiring Hungarian land, the agreements were concluded between Hungarians, the statement said.

Regarding allegations that the documents together added up to a “pocket agreement” aiming to circumvent Hungarian law, the prosecutor’s office said the parties had withdrawn from implementing the contents of the German-language certificate, so no such result had been achieved.

Dobrev said in response that the decision was “trying to absolve crime by circles close to Fidesz… But this will not always be so. There will come a day when an independent prosecutor’s office will rule that [President] Tamás Sulyok is a common criminal who has helped play Hungarian land to foreigners’ hands, using strawmen and pocket agreements, unlawfully and in a criminal organisation,” she said.

  1. “Pot calling the Kettle BLACK”.
The “Gall” of Gyurcsany “mouthing off” making claims, statements and giving opinions on CRIMINALITY – laughable.
    Hungarians HAVE long memory’s.
Hungarians, who have spent there lives, after Education in Law, to this day, in number, are of the opinion that in Gyurcsany time, as the FAILED and Disgraced – Prime Minister of Hungary, that “deeper” use of Law should have been directed at him, for “practices” involvements, his name “by association” that Gyurcsany behaviour contradicted, his involvement of his undertaking, that where forbidden under Criminal Law.
Careful he should walk & talk, the name Gyurcsany, has LONG history as do the memory’s of Hungarians, who REMEMBER the “collapsed” state he as Prime Minister, when he was rightfully “booted” out of office, what HE – the cataclysmic MESS – Hungary.
Go, I say – you do more harm to the Political Party you represent, deflecting, harming, damaging there IMAGE, to the entire Political environment in Hungary and Hungary.
    Go.

  2. Gyurcsany is probably the biggest criminal for selling the country cheaply for foreign globalist. He betrayed 9+ million people.

  3. It beggars belief that a human being can so lack in self-awareness and sheer shame as Gyurcsany.

How is he not embarrassed of his abysmal track record that he does not quietly slink away from public view and spend his remaining days in obscure ignominy?!

He is a total failure; yet, he is still active in politics and public life.

    Just go away, creep!

  4. The memory is not so long that we invite the Russians back after what they did to us in 1956. Thanks Maria, your input is soooooo useful

  5. Peaceful co-existence does not mean that 1956 is forgotten. Hungarian young people sacrificed their lives. Central Europe was given to Russia by the British, American, French all in agreement. At the end of the war European countries and US washed their hands of Central Europe.

Poland had an uprising; Czechoslovakia had a rebellion and Hungary in 1956. No western country even hinted at supporting Central Europeans. Why would anyone trust EU countries or US? Central EU nations were admitted to the EU and NATO in the hope that if Russia attacks it will be Central Europe that will be wiped out.

Hungary needs oil/gas. Russia has been a reliable source.

Hungarians remained loyal to Hungary, unlike Poland that jumps at the order of Brussels. The Czeck Republic is a similar puppet of the EU.

The EU will still betray Central European countries in case of trouble from Russia, so co-existence is not such a bad thing, it may allow survival of the nations.
