Rácalmás (Hungary) Hankook plant makes tyres for Mercedes E-Class

AutoPro said, Mercedes-Benz’s environment-friendly limousine is fitted with Hankook tyres manufactured exclusively at the company’s Rácalmás plant.

Hankook manufactures tyres for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the BMW 5-Series. However, the cooperation has been extended: from September, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Blue Efficiency will also be fitted with 17” Ventus S1 evo2 tyres.

“I’m very proud of the fact that the Mercedes-Benz E-Class is fitted with tyres made exclusively at our Rácalmás plant. Not only is it an acknowledgement of Hankook but also of our Hungarian production unit,” said Lee Sang Il, the CEO of Hankook Tire.
