Ready for your vacation? Here are the cities you can fly to from Hungary in July
For now, it is uncertain which countries we can travel to under what restrictions this summer as it mostly depends on the vaccination programs of governments. Nevertheless, flight companies, which had to say goodbye to last summer’s traffic completely and which keep operating at a very limited capacity, are eager to get ready for change.
As the recent national consultation shows, Hungarian people are very keen to reopen and to travel, of course. The same goes for airlines operating in the country. Wizz Air, for instance, announced several new flights this week for the summer season. Portfolio.hu collected the cities that will receive flights from Hungary through the three biggest European low-cost airlines: Ryanair, Wizz Air, and easyJet. The lists below will include only direct flights, in July.
EasyJet is the smallest of the three companies present in Hungary and, based on their list, they will not try to take advantage of the post-pandemic recovery period to acquire a bigger role in the Hungarian market. Seven destinations are on their list.

The most popular city with 21 flights a week from Budapest will be London, followed by Milan with 12 possibilities. Several cities will be able to be reached once a day, such as Brussels, Prague, Tel-Aviv, or Rome.

Wizz Air offers the highest number of destinations from the three airlines for the upcoming summer season. We can travel to 26 countries and 64 cities this July. Several cities of the classic vacation countries are on their list, such as Italy, Spain, or Greece, complete with many islands of all these countries. London will be the most popular destination with 15 flights a week, but Tel-Aviv or Milan, for instance, will also see a Wizz Air flight arriving from Hungary every single day. Most of the offered cities are on Ryanair’s list, too; however, Wizz Air offers more options outside Europe.
