Road to Budapest Airport closed, fatal accident overnight – PHOTOS
Two cars collided on the road to Budapest Airport on Monday night. Several people were injured and one woman died at the scene.
Two cars collided at the Határ Street flyover on the road leading to Liszt Ferenc International Airport at around 11:45 PM last night in as yet unclear circumstances, police.hu reports.
Several people were injured in the accident. One women died at the scene.
As they wrote, the police closed the road to the airport.
On the outbound side from the capital, traffic was diverted to Üllői Street, on the inbound side to Vak Bottyán Street, they added.

The road condition – the SURFACE of, is DANGEROUS.
It continues to DETERIATE.
Airport Buses – the ride on it from Kelvin ter out to Liszt Ferenc Airport – and back- APPALLING.
The DAMAGE it is DOING to the SUSPENSIONS of our Public Buses – HORRENDOUS.
It SHOULD have past due date – speed limit REDUCTION on it as a SAFETY measure – IMMEDIATELY.
Summer comes – Heat on the Bitumen Freeway – increased buses to and from Liszt Ferenc Airport, increased Buses, Public & Tourist and Private Vehicles – this FREEWAY already DANGEROUS in parts to DRIVE at MAXIMUN speed – will be a Death Trap, awaiting SERIOUS accidents.
The standard quality of this FREEWAY – for visitors/tourists to Budapest, Hungary is an EMBARRASSMENT.
