Rod Stewart to give a concert in Budapest
The Scottish superstar is to return to Budapest with his greatest hits. He will perform in the MVM Dome on 22 June 2024. The Hungary concert will be one station of his world tour.
According to turizmus.com, that will be the fifth time Rod Stewart performs in Budapest. His first concert was in 2010 in front of 250,000 fans in Budapest’s 56-osok tere (Square of 1956 freedom fighters), near the capital’s impressing City Park (Városliget). We wrote about his secret concert HERE.
The 78-year-old singer is one of the greatest superstars in the world. His career spans five decades. He sold 250 million copies of his albums worldwide. Here is a selection of his greatest hits: Maggie May, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy, Baby Jane, The First Cut Is the Deepest, I Don’t Want to Talk About It, Tonight’s the Night, You Are in My Heart, Hot Legs, Forever Young, and Sailing.

Furthermore, he could make a list-leading hit song during each decade of his career. Stewart is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, received a Grammy, ASCAP and was knighted in Buckingham Palace in 2016 for his charity and musical service.
Rod Stewart wanted to be a professional soccer player at his early age. Later, he became a gravedigger. His last studio album was released in 2021 (The Tears of Hercules). His Time album (2013) conquered the British hit song lists that year.
