Saudi delegation explores cooperation in auto engineering
(MTI) – A delegation from Saudi Arabia offered cooperation with Hungary in engineering and training in the auto sector, the deputy president of the National Innovation Office NIH said on Thursday.
The group, led by Transport Minister Jubarah Bin Eid Alsuraisry, visited the office to learn about new developments in RDI in Hungary’s transport sector, Laszlo Koranyi told MTI.
The delegation also participated in workshops at which two Budapest universities, two companies and a cluster for aviation technologies presented new innovations.
The Saudi partners made a concrete proposal for cooperation in automotive development for new safety technologies.
They also proposed cooperation with the Budapest Technical University in PhD training for engineering experts of Saudi Arabia’s transport ministry and its institutions, Koranyi said.
