Snow arrived in Hungary – VIDEO, PHOTOS

We wrote yesterday that this winter’s first snow might arrive in Hungary. And the meteorologists were right. There was an intensive snowfall in the upper regions of some mountains in Hungary. Meanwhile, the Lake Balaton region was hit by hail. We can say that Hungary’s weather was diverse.
According to idokep.hu, a Hungarian meteorology news website, Kékestető, Hungary’s highest peak (1014m), saw the first snowfall this winter in Hungary. The frozen precipitation arrived on Saturday afternoon and lasted until the evening. Norbi Demecs, a local tour guide, was on the hill and took some photos of the snow and the snowfall. Unfortunately, yesterday’s snow melted quickly. According to Időkép, today will be sunny on Kékes. In the afternoon, the temperature will be between 7-13 °C.
